You understand more
than you can say.

Ba asks jamya? and you freeze. Bolo helps you turn the words you half-remember into words you can say out loud.

How it works

Built for your ears and your mouth, not a textbook.

Listen

Every lesson starts with sound. You hear real, everyday Gujarati, spoken the way your family speaks it.

jamya?
have you eaten?

Speak

Then you say it back out loud. Short spoken exercises build the habit that reading never could.

Your guide

Meet Savaj, the Gir lion.

Gujarat is the only place on Earth where wild Asiatic lions still roam, in the Gir Forest. Savaj, which means lion, is your guide through Bolo. He is proud, he is patient, and he is happy every time you get a word right.

He does not rush you. He waits until you are ready to speak.

“Kem cho? Chalo, boliye.”

One day, you will practice a real conversation with Savaj.

This part is still in the workshop. Down the road, you will be able to talk to Savaj the way you talk to family. He speaks back, stays in character, and helps you fix what you get wrong.

  • Talk to Savaj. Have a spoken back-and-forth at your level. It is the closest thing to sitting across from Ba.
  • “How do I say…?” Ask for anything, like how to tell Dadi her food was delicious, and get the phrase, the sound, and when to use it.
  • Grows with you. Savaj sticks to the words you know and adds more as you go.
