Listen
Every lesson starts with sound. You hear real, everyday Gujarati, spoken the way your family speaks it.
Kem cho?/ how are you?
An audio-first app for second and third generation Gujaratis who understand a little but want to actually speak with their grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
Coming soon on iOS and Android
Ba asks jamya? and you freeze. Bolo helps you turn the words you half-remember into words you can say out loud.
Every lesson starts with sound. You hear real, everyday Gujarati, spoken the way your family speaks it.
Then you say it back out loud. Short spoken exercises build the habit that reading never could.
Every lesson is a real moment. Greet Ba, answer “have you eaten?”, say a proper goodbye.
Gujarat is the only place on Earth where wild Asiatic lions still roam, in the Gir Forest. Savaj, which means lion, is your guide through Bolo. He is proud, he is patient, and he is happy every time you get a word right.
He does not rush you. He waits until you are ready to speak.
“Kem cho? Chalo, boliye.”
This part is still in the workshop. Down the road, you will be able to talk to Savaj the way you talk to family. He speaks back, stays in character, and helps you fix what you get wrong.
Bolo is on its way to iOS and Android. Savaj is warming up.
